Our annual rather legendary Xmas celebration in London with Team Kandi.
Bush Hall, an Edwardian dance hall built in 1904, stands as a significant cultural asset in West London. Having served various community roles throughout its history, from a wartime soup kitchen to a rehearsal space for notable artists, it was lovingly restored in 2001 to its original purpose as a live music and events venue. It now functions as a vital hub, hosting a diverse calendar of performances and private gatherings that enrich the local and national cultural landscape.
The interior exudes a grounded elegance, where the gleam of six reinstated Austrian lead crystal chandeliers casts a warm, inviting light across the ornate Edwardian plasterwork. The air often carries the faint, sweet scent of aged wood and the lingering echo of past performances, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and intimately familiar. The careful restoration has ensured that its period charm blends seamlessly with modern technical capabilities, offering a distinctive backdrop for any occasion.
Bush Hall offers excellent accessibility, with level access from the street entrance through to the box office, main bar, and performance hall, including an accessible toilet. While there isn't a dedicated garden, the venue provides a main bar and a terrace bar upstairs, offering a range of drinks. Bar snacks are available, and external catering can be arranged for private hires.
The venue regularly hosts a broad spectrum of events, from live music performances spanning various genres to comedy nights and cabaret shows.
