Hannah Laing returns to Liverpool in a new venue on Saturday 24th January
Exhibition Centre Liverpool stands as a pivotal national asset on the city's iconic waterfront, forming a crucial part of the wider ACC Liverpool Group campus. This purpose-built facility plays a significant role in elevating Liverpool's profile as a premier destination for major gatherings, drawing in national and international events that contribute substantially to the regional economy. It represents the UK's only interconnected complex of arena, convention centre, and exhibition space, a testament to its strategic importance.
Within its expansive halls, a sense of purposeful activity often permeates the air, a subtle hum of anticipation before an event or the focused energy of delegates. The vast, open spaces, with their soaring 18-meter ceilings, offer a canvas for diverse installations, while the robust, polished concrete floors speak to the venue's capacity for large-scale productions and the constant flow of visitors.
Situated directly on Kings Dock, the centre benefits from exceptional connectivity, easily accessible via major road networks, a short journey from Lime Street Station, and with ample secure parking. The venue is deeply committed to ensuring accessibility for all, actively working with organisations like AccessAble to uphold high standards of inclusivity across its facilities, which also include comprehensive food and beverage services.
Throughout the year, Exhibition Centre Liverpool hosts a broad spectrum of events. From significant political conferences and large-scale trade shows to public exhibitions and standing concerts for thousands, the venue consistently delivers a dynamic programme. It serves as a versatile platform for both industry leaders and the wider public, reflecting the diverse cultural and commercial landscape of the UK.
