Night time session as part of Memory Box day & night, celebrating a decade in the city by welcoming some of the most important and influential figures
Patterns, situated on Brighton's Marine Parade, stands as a vital cultural fixture, evolving from its origins as an art deco hotel into a cornerstone of the city's vibrant music and event scene. Since its reimagining in 2015, it has cultivated a reputation as a welcoming space for diverse communities, particularly within the underground club culture and LGBTQI+ scene, fostering a sense of belonging through its consistent programming.
Inside, the venue presents a considered aesthetic across its two floors. The ground floor bar area features monolithic mirrors meeting industrial concrete, with green neon accents casting a distinctive glow. Descending to the basement reveals a space engineered for sonic immersion, where the powerful L'Acoustics sound system delivers palpable bass, designed to envelop dancers in the music.
Beyond its interior, Patterns boasts a south-facing wood-decked terrace, offering expansive views of the seafront and Brighton Pier. This urban oasis, adorned with tropical potted palms and pastel furniture, provides a relaxed setting for enjoying a selection of craft beers, cocktails, and pizzas.
