Description

Bloomfield Road Stadium stands as a significant civic asset, deeply woven into the fabric of Blackpool since 1901 as the enduring home of its football club. Beyond the roar of match days, it functions as a vital community hub, with the Blackpool FC Community Trust delivering extensive programmes that foster social inclusion, enhance well-being, and provide educational opportunities for thousands across all generations. This commitment extends far beyond sport, positioning the venue as a cornerstone for local engagement and development.

Within its modernised confines, a distinct atmosphere prevails. The polished surfaces of the hospitality suites reflect the ambient lighting, while the subtle scent of freshly brewed coffee and quality catering hints at the refined experiences on offer. From the intimate executive boxes, offering panoramic views of the pitch, to the more expansive lounges, each space is designed to facilitate connection and conversation, whether for business or leisure.

Practicality underpins the venue's operation. Comprehensive accessibility provisions, including ramp access and multiple lifts, ensure ease of movement for all visitors. While a dedicated garden space is not a feature, the stadium's proximity to the town centre and promenade offers ample opportunity for pre- and post-event strolls. Refreshments are readily available, with cashless payment systems streamlining service across concourses and hospitality areas.

Throughout the year, Bloomfield Road transforms to accommodate a diverse calendar of events. Beyond the regular football fixtures, it has hosted significant rugby league encounters and major women's football championships. Its versatile function rooms and executive boxes regularly welcome corporate conferences, celebratory dinners, and large-scale exhibitions, cementing its reputation as a flexible and well-appointed destination for a broad spectrum of gatherings.
