Description

Singleton Park serves as a significant public green space and a key cultural events destination for Swansea and beyond. This expansive urban park, a Grade I listed site, holds historical importance and provides a substantial recreational offering for the community.

Within its generous boundaries, the park cultivates an atmosphere of calm, where mature tree canopies cast shifting patterns of light and shadow across meandering pathways. The air often carries the subtle scent of damp earth after a rain, mingling with the delicate fragrances from the botanical gardens.

Practical amenities include the meticulously maintained botanical gardens and a tranquil boating lake. The park offers considerable accessibility, with many paths suitable for wheelchair users, and mobile coffee vendors are present to provide refreshments.

Throughout the year, Singleton Park delivers a diverse programme of public events. These range from large-scale music performances and themed festivals to community gatherings, consistently attracting substantial audiences and affirming its role as a regional cultural focal point.
