Friday 16th October we take over Unit 51 in Aberdeen for a night with Kyle Starkey & STÜM as well as local rising stars Vivace.

Description

Unit 51 stands as a significant cultural contributor within Aberdeen's vibrant landscape, consistently delivering a diverse programme of events that enrich the city's nightlife and artistic offerings. It functions as a vital hub, drawing in audiences from across the North East for experiences that extend beyond mere commerce, fostering a sense of shared occasion.

Within its subterranean setting, the venue cultivates a distinct atmosphere. Exposed brickwork and arched ceilings provide a raw, industrial canvas, softened by the strategic play of light that washes over the space, shifting with the rhythm of each event. The air often carries the low thrum of anticipation, a palpable energy that precedes the unfolding of sound and performance.

Located on Carnegie's Brae, Unit 51 provides a well-appointed bar, ensuring a comprehensive selection of drinks is available. While its underground architecture presents inherent characteristics, the venue's operational focus is on delivering a seamless experience for all attendees. There is no external garden, with the emphasis placed squarely on the immersive internal environment.

The calendar at Unit 51 is marked by a consistent flow of varied events. Audiences can expect everything from cutting-edge electronic music nights and live band showcases to themed gatherings and community-focused events, reflecting a commitment to broad cultural engagement rather than a narrow specialisation.
