M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) are one of the most uncompromising and explosive duos in hip-hop history. Consisting of Billy Danze (born Eric Murray) and Lil' Fame (born Jamal Grinnage), M.O.P. emerged from the hard concrete of Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York—an environment that shaped both their sound and their worldview. Their music is raw, aggressive, and brutally honest, channeling street reality into high-energy hardcore hip-hop that has earned
them legendary status worldwide.
M.O.P. first made waves in the early 1990s, quickly standing out for their no-frills delivery, militant intensity, and unfiltered lyricism. Their debut album To the Death (1994) laid the foundation for their reputation as one of the toughest acts in the game. But it was the release of Warriorz in 2000 that cemented their legacy, featuring timeless anthems like Ante Up,
Cold As Ice, and “Warriorz”—tracks that remain adrenaline-fueled classics to this day.
Their signature sound blends ferocious vocal performances with gritty, sample-driven production, creating music that feels like a rallying cry from the streets. M.O.P.’s influence reaches far beyond album sales: they have collaborated with countless artists, appeared on major soundtracks, and inspired generations of MCs who value authenticity over trends.

25 Years of Warriorz Tour
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Warriorz, M.O.P. are returning to the stages of Europe with the 25 Years of Warriorz Tour—harder, louder, and more relentless than ever before. Since the mid 1990s, Lil’ Fame and Billy Danze have stood for pure, unfiltered hardcore hip-hop, and few acts can match their unique blend of raw energy, military-style pressure, and
street poetry.
This tour is a tribute to a quarter-century of uncompromising hip-hop. Fans can expect a set packed with classic bangers, unexpected moments, and a stage presence that has set standards for 25 years. Tracks like “Ante Up,” “Cold As Ice,” and “Warriorz” don’t just get played—they detonate, turning venues into pressure cookers of sweat, movement, and collective
energy.
M.O.P. live is not nostalgia—it’s impact. Their shows are legendary: brutal, electrifying, and intensely physical. From the first beat to the last shout, they deliver with a force that leaves no room for compromise.
M.O.P. are back.
Not a concert.
Not an event.
A damn experience.

Newcastle Students Union Profile Pic

Description

Newcastle University Students' Union stands as a prominent cultural and social anchor within the city, extending its influence far beyond the student body it primarily serves. As a Grade II listed building, its architectural presence, a blend of neo-Jacobean grandeur and modernist extension, contributes significantly to the urban fabric of Newcastle upon Tyne. This independent charity operates as a dynamic hub, facilitating a broad spectrum of activities that engage both the university community and wider public audiences.

Within its walls, a distinct atmosphere prevails, where the scent of freshly brewed coffee from its cafes mingles with the subtle aroma of aged timber in the older sections of the building. The lighting shifts from the bright, functional spaces of its advice centres to the more ambient, adaptable illumination of its performance areas, creating varied environments for study, socialising, and entertainment. This thoughtful design ensures comfort and utility across its diverse offerings.

Practical amenities are well-integrated, including Luther's, the established student bar, alongside various food outlets providing convenient sustenance. The building also features dedicated spaces for student support and administrative functions. Its central location on King's Road ensures ease of access, making it a readily available resource for a wide demographic.

Throughout the year, the Union hosts an extensive programme of events. These range from significant live music performances and club nights in its dedicated venue, to a multitude of society gatherings, volunteering initiatives, and welcome events for new arrivals. It consistently delivers a varied calendar, cementing its reputation as a key destination for cultural engagement and community activity.
