Sorry, This Event is in the past!
Welcome to this our 20th festival. We are pleased to run this as an actual festival,
and look forward to meeting again. Thanks to those who supported the virtual
festivals for the last two years.
The Festival and Camping is at the Recreation Ground field which includes
shower and toilet facilities and is disabled friendly. There is a 24-hour loo.
Regret no hook-ups. The hall has kitchen facilities. If you are camping, please
book early. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Full directions are on the website.
Our independent Real Ale bar will be open at the hall on Friday pm, Saturday
lunchtime and pm, and Sunday lunchtime.
The concert guests are: Terry Helyar, Paul and Lorraine, Dick Stephens, Issy
and David Emeny, High and Dry, and Tim & Sue Brine . Other events include Wild
Thyme Border Morris, Musician?s session, Ceilidh, Folk Club with tea and cakes,
Stories and Ballads session. Full program and more information about the guests
are on the website. We will offer our usual recycling facilities, but this year we ask
that you take your non-recyclable rubbish away to dispose of it.
The Butchers Arms offers good food, and B & B, Phone 01643 821333.
(www.butchersarms.co.uk). Unfortunately there are no other B&B facilities at
Carhampton. The nearest shopping area is Minehead, a short direct bus ride away,
but the local shop in Carhampton has most necessities available and is open
daytime
The festival and camping are in the middle of Carhampton. Please keep the
informal noise, however good it is, down after midnight.
