The musical evolution of Old Blind Dogs began in Aberdeen in 1992.
Inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, The Dogs have an affectionate, playful and joyous attitude to the tradition. Celebrating over 30 years on the road and 14 albums, the current line up consists of original member Jonny Hardie (fiddle/vocals), Aaron Jones (cittern/guitar/vocals), Donald Hay (percussion/vocals) and now joined by the brilliant piper/whistle player Mike Katz (formerly of The Battlefield Band).
Touring all over the USA, Europe and at home, they comprise one of the hottest live tickets on the traditional Scottish music scene today!

The cool, smooth touch of its inspiring stone masonry contrasts with the warm light filtering through a dramatic stained-glass window, creating a space that feels both substantial and uplifting. Its renowned acoustics ensure clarity and depth for every performance.
Practical considerations are well-addressed, with wheelchair access facilitated via a dedicated side entrance adjacent to the Phoenix Café. This on-site café provides refreshments, and ample parking is available for visitors attending events.
