Bespoke Pedal Club is a tight-knit instrumental band made up of four of London’s most in-demand musicians. Their set features original compositions, reworked standards, and classic guitar tunes by Speedy West and Jimmy Bryant — drawing on jazz, country, and rhythm & blues with a relaxed, open feel. Joining the group as featured vocalist is Nashville-based singer-songwriter Alyssa Bonagura, whose blend of Americana, country, pop, and rock brings an additional dynamic to the band’s sound.
• Alyssa Bonagura (featured vocals) – a highly versatile Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Blending Americana, country, pop, and rock, she has built an acclaimed solo career while writing and producing for major acts like Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Jessie James Decker. She is also recognized for her solo releases and past work in The Sisterhood Band
• Phil Donnelly (bass) – known for work with Damian Lewis, Madness, and major West End productions.
• Darren Beckett (drums) – a respected name on both sides of the Atlantic, with credits including Madeleine Peyroux, Brandon Flowers, Ban Morrison, Ronnie Wood.
• Rob Updegraff (guitar) – a distinctive voice on the UK scene, with performances alongside Gregory Porter, Jamie Cullum, and many more.
• Jon Gingell (guitar) – an inventive and versatile guitarist who has worked with PJ Harvey and a wide range of UK artists.

Our dream was to create a place where we could share music that we loved – somewhere with a laid back, intimate and friendly atmosphere. Becoming friends in our school days, the seed for our idea was planted many years ago. After lots of hard work, many ups and downs, and learning more than we ever could have imagined along the way, our dream became a reality when Green Note opened its doors in the Summer of 2005. Now in our fourteenth year, we have established a reputation as one of London’s best spots for roots, world and acoustic music, and we’re constantly astonished by the wealth of incredible musicians who grace our stage. We’re really proud of what we have created, and happy to be able to share it with you.
