Event Type

Genre : Music - General

Description

A celebration of fifty years of Rock Against Racism with Bukky Leo and King Toadfish.

Bukky Leo has been at the forefront of London's jazz and African music scenes since arriving in the UK in 1982 – carrying with him the endorsement of Afrobeat's founding fathers, Fela Kuti and Tony Allen, who he performed with in Nigeria.

King Toadfish & the All-Weather Riders are a community music collective from East/North-East London, going for 30 years, playing a mix of ska, dub, klezmer, blues, and funk. Several members of the KTF were involved in RAR in its heyday.

We will be raising funds on the night for Love Music Hate Racism.
