Description
We've just heard from her publisher that Sharon has become unwell, and will be unable to travel to Ashburton next week, and so, unfortunately, we must cancel this event.
Award-winning author and psychologist Sharon Blackie discusses her new book Ripening, a powerful exploration of fairy tales, transformation and the stories women need for uncertain times.
Drawing on mythology, folklore and psychology, Blackie reclaims the old tales as guides to courage, confidence and personal renewal. Followed by audience Q&A and book signing.
More about Dr Sharon Blackie at sharonblackie.net – author of the bestselling If Women Rose Rooted, The Enchanted Life, Foxfire, Wolfskin and Hagitude.
Presented in collaboration with Ashburton Craftmongers, 32 North Street, Ashburton: craftmongers.com and facebook.com/AshburtonCraftmonger.
