An Evening with Plato and the Moondogs

Event Type

Genre : Music - General

Description

Plato and the Moondogs have been a psychedelic-folk band, scrappy barn-punks, rooftop rockers, and dedicated writers of Christmas carols for the pop generation. Catch the four of them NOW! As they change skins once again. “It’s like punk never happened” - Spinmaster Plantpot

Ft. Hungry Dog Brand, Spinmaster Plantpot, & inigo

After a 15-year gap spent writing books, singer-songwriter Martin Dowsing aka Hungry Dog returns with a new line-up, featuring Alan Boyd (Little Sparta/Movieland) on bass, Matthew Karas (Glassglue) on keys, and Ean Ravenscroft (Dexter Bentley/Joss Cope/Gerry Mitchell All-stars) on drums. “The UK’s Martin Dowsing is a kindred spirit to the estimable lineage of confessional, punk poets before him… If you like honest types bearing their English souls, this is the shit.” - Michael Pearlstein, Big Takeover magazine

Spinmaster Plantpot is a dead punk. Equal amounts bicarbonate of soda to scattergun no-show a cappella. He'll rock your world and take you to a place West of Norwood Junction.

inigo brings to the stage dreampop-inspired music about memories and nostalgia, about childhood and memories, about taking them with us and holding them tight, about when to let go and when to keep them safe. Come and be a part of it.
