Spaceship Hoaxwind lands in the West Midlands, South of Birmingham. There, they will perform at the prestigious Billesley Rock Club. Hoaxwind is the UK's premier tribute band from London, playing the songs of those mighty space rockers, Hawkwind. Six talented musicians who play a combination of drums, bass, acoustic/rhythm/lead guitar, as well as keyboards, saxophone, violin, synths, samples, and authentic oscillations!
Hoaxwind have had the honour during their more than 15-year history of playing Hawkwind classics alongside such Hawkwind luminaries as Alan Davey, Nik Turner, and Mick Slattery. Performing songs from the 'classic' 70s & 80s era, they recreate the sights, sounds (and smells) of the hypnotic and unpredictable live shows that made seeing Hawkwind play during those eras such an attraction.
