Here’s a lovely new pairing, drawn from two of our long-time favourite regular musicians. Saxophonist Kevin Figes is a tremendous performer & composer, recipient of rave reviews in The Guardian and Jazzwise for his playfully uncategorisable recordings. Matt Hopkins is a virtuoso guitarist whose dazzlingly inventive and melodic playing has been featured in groups as stylistically diverse as Andy Sheppard’s Hotel Bristol and The Hopkins Hammond Trio.

​Tonight, they’ll be playing jazz standards, swing, bossa, ballads, funk, and more, all in their own inimitable style. Come and marvel at their fluidity and near telepathic communication! Highly recommended.
