Step aboard historic lightship LV21 moored at the Historic Dockyard Chatham for an atmospheric evening with singer-songwriter MG Boulter.
MG Boulter has been creating rich and evocative story songs since 2013.
MG creates vignettes of suburban lives and seaside communities and is a contemporary voice in the long tradition of the singer-songwriter.
Often referred to as the artist's artist MG has been a much sought after collaborator in the folk and Americana scenes, having tenures in the Simone Felice Group (US), The Duke and the King (US), Emily Portman's Coracle Band, Blue Rose Code, The Owl Service & Jon Boden's Remnant Kings.
Highlights:
Opened for Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott on their 2018 tour, including the Royal Albert Hall and major city venues.
Played main stages at Black Deer, Moseley Folk • "Beautiful, intelligent and understated and FolkEast Festivals.
Worked with BBC Folk award winning producer on albums released by Hudson Records.
Co-writer and musical director for 'Tales from the Thames, a play commissioned by the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.

LV21 is moored at Anchor Wharf in the Historic Dockyard Chatham, Kent. Access to the site is restricted and entry is via 24/7 operated security gates. If you are arriving to the performance by car it is ESSENTIAL that you submit your car registration number details when ordering your tickets to gain entry and free parking on site. As a historic ship access aboard LV21 is limited with main entry via a narrow and steep gangway and steps. Please wear flat, non-slip shoes for your visit onboard the ship. The crew can assist with entry and exit if required. Regrettably there is no wheelchair access to the ship.
