Steam Kittens are a punk band based in Ilkeston Derbyshire. Reforming in 2016 after a 20 year break the original lineup Tucky vocals, Bill guitar, Craig bass and Gav drums hit the road again playing all over the country. Gradually the lineup Changed with Tucky retiring and being replaced by Tom next Craig retired with Scott jumping at the chance to fill his boots in 2022. Next Bill retired and Tom left leaving Gav as the only original member and Scott on bass. After a bit of soul searching, it was decided to go forward as a 3 piece with the addition of Jamie in 2024 on guitar and vocals bringing a fresh edge to the sound. With the new line up Steam kittens are still playing all over the country louder and bolder than ever before.

Family of Strangers formed in November 2023. In 2024, they made an impact in Brighton with successful gigs, and in 2025, performed 40 gigs/festivals across East Sussex, Hastings, London, Birmingham, and more. Their busy calendar for 2026 includes more studio tracks for an upcoming LP. Lots of other plans have been made and they are excited that they include playing Rebellion Frine Fest this year for punk's 50th anniversary. They deliver energetic punk, some ska punk and play eclectic tunes, with lyrics the audience love to join in with!
