NSEMBLE HESPERI is a dynamic and innovative London-based period ensemble, with a reputation for showcasing intelligent research-led Baroque Music. In 2020 the ensemble was selected as Britten Pears Young Artists and won first prize at the London International Festival of Early Music Young Ensemble Competition. Their exciting programme Handel in the Strand will recreate the spirit of this musical street, with music by composers who seized the opportunity to earn their living in cosmopolitan London such as Corelli & William Boyce plus Scottish music from shops on the Strand and solo compositions
between acts of plays in the theatre district
