Boisdale has Jools Holland as Patron of Music, a live programme that runs seven nights a week and a NEXO sound system installed because the music demands it. Mi-Soul Radio has Gordon Mac MBE, Kiss FM in its DNA and thirty years of soul, house and R&B running through everything it does. On Friday nights the two come together on the first floor and the result is exactly what you would hope for.
The selectors rotate through the Mi-Soul roster each week, which keeps the sets fresh without ever dropping the standard. Deep soulful house one Friday, classic R&B the next, but always played by someone who has a genuine relationship with the music rather than a playlist and a laptop. Start on the heated terrace with a cocktail overlooking Cabot Square, move inside when the night builds and let the sound system do the rest.
First Floor Bar & Heated Garden Terrace
Nestled in Cabot Square and overlooking the fountain with the Canary Wharf skyline beyond, the first floor bar and heated garden terrace is a destination in its own right. Fine wines, premium spirits and expertly crafted cocktails, with a selection that covers everything from rare whiskies to classic and signature serves.
Pair your drink with Scottish cuisine, fresh seafood, steaks, burgers, pizzas and more. The bar hosts DJ nights Thursday through Saturday and brunch on the terrace every Saturday and Sunday.
Boisdale of Canary Wharf is a two-floor venue overlooking Cabot Square which comprises a restaurant, four private dining rooms, Oyster Bar & Grill and Cigar Terrace, the world's greatest Whisky Bar, and the best live music in the capital.
