Dubinski
Thursday 12th November
Fierce, melodic, and unflinchingly honest, Dubinski stand at the forefront of Scotland’snext wave of alternative rock. Praised for their electrifying live shows and heartfeltsongwriting, Dubinski combine jagged guitars, propulsive rhythms, and soaring vocalhooks with thoughtful, socially-aware lyricism. Channeling influences that span TheClash to LCD Soundsystem, Dubinski forge a sound that is unmistakably their own, withthe rare abilityto balance raw power with introspection.
Born in rural North Yorkshire and raised in the Scottish Highlands, Dubinski are fourinseparable siblings: Eugene, Fergus, Donal and Eoin Gaine. Taking on the band nameDubinski (their late mother’s maiden name), the band released their acclaimedeponymous debut album in 2022 and took their high-energy show on the road as aninternational touring act. Upon their return, the band re-enlisted Grammy Award winningproducers Mike Horner and Robbie Nelson (The Rolling Stones, Hot Chip, FrankFerdinand) to record their critically acclaimed sophomore album 'What Is Your DefinitionOf Happiness?’, released in March 2025.
Now returning with “Information Overload”, Ciggy Burns”, and “Back To Basics,” theirfirst new material since 2025’s ‘What Is Your Definition Of Happiness?’, Dubinski makesa bold leap forward as one of the UK’s most exciting and hardest-working indie bands. All three tracks will feature on Dubinski’s as-yet-untitled new LP, set for release inSpring 2027

Description
The Fickle Pickle Club stands as a vital cultural artery within Westcliff-on-Sea, a venue with a storied past now vibrantly rekindled. Having once provided a stage for legendary figures before their widespread acclaim, it continues its legacy as a crucial platform for both established and emerging artists, cementing its place as a significant regional hub for live performance and community gathering.
Inside, the atmosphere is one of intimate warmth, where the low-lit space encourages connection between performer and audience. The air often carries the lingering scent of hops and anticipation, while the well-worn surfaces of the bar and seating areas speak to decades of shared experiences and memorable nights.
Located at 228 London Road, adjacent to the Cricketers pub, the club offers a focused bar service, providing a selection of beverages to complement the evening's entertainment. The deliberate absence of bar snacks contributes to a clean, uncluttered environment, allowing the focus to remain squarely on the performances.
Throughout the year, The Fickle Pickle Club curates a diverse programme, encompassing a broad spectrum of live music genres, alongside occasional intimate theatrical productions and private functions. It consistently provides a dynamic space for artists to hone their craft and for audiences to discover new sounds and experiences.
