Arcelia
The core trio of ARCELIA is GAVIN ALEXANDER TERESA GALLAGHER & SIMON FOSTER and regularly joined by MARTIN ELLIOTT on bass and PERRY WHITE on piano.
Arcelia (pronounced Ah-KELL-ia meaning 'treasure chest' in old Spanish) is a soulful folk trio from the valleys of Kent. An exquisite sound which has been likened to Crosby Stills & Nash, America, Paul Simon and Squeeze (they regularly perform and tour with CHRIS DIFFORD). They have also been in demand as a support act for the likes of Scott Matthews, Oysterband, Coope Boyes and Simpson, Boo Hewerdine, Michele Stodart and Maddy Prior.
Following up their 2014 debut Wrap Your Bones, on their new album Building on the Land the band continues to evolve into an exceptional songwriting and performing unit, further exploring everyday life and loves.
"Wonderfully warm harmonies .." MOJO MAGAZINE

Don't Call Me Ishmael
Don't Call Me Ishmael are a band from Staffordshire who have morphed, over the course of three albums, into purveyors of rambunctious pop and heart-on-the sleeve romanticism.
With a wide-eyed commitment to making their point, intertwined with a fine ear for melody, they tread the line between Frank Turner's hard hitting agit-pop and The Decemberists' storytelling folk sensibilities.
A six-piece outfit containing two sets of siblings, Don't Call Me Ishmael have an intuitive feel that such familial ties bring. As you would expect with a band that contains five vocalists, they produce razor-sharp harmonies and truth-soaked lyrics straight out of the Loudon Wainwright or Billy Bragg songbook.

Lucy Grubb
Lucy Grubb is a singer/songwriter from Norwich blending modern Americana with Country undertones.
Inspired by the likes of Johnny Cash, Lucy's understated guitar rhythms and Country trilled vocal melodies hark back to tried and tested traditional Country song writing, expressing grief, sorrow and heartbreak. Although lacking life experience, Lucy takes her own emotional turmoil and communicates it through gripping lyrical content and storytelling. One cannot help but wonder where some of those lyrics are coming from, she's obviously another 'old soul' with a huge talent for expressive songwriting. - Richard Shashamane
With nods to songwriter Paul Simon, Lucy focuses on writing about the truth in a way that sets her apart from other songwriters. Like Simon, Lucy often likes to add a spin to the tone of her lyrics, sometimes witty or sarcastic to enhance the storytelling experience. Ultimately what makes her songs stand out is the ability to take them and create meaning unique to the individual.
In 2014 Lucy made her debut appearance on BBC Introducing in Norfolk, followed by a performance at Open for BBC Radio 1's Academy in conjunction with BBC Introducing in 2016. Later that year, Lucy supported folk singer/songwriter Lucy Rose at Norwich Arts Centre for Norwich Sound & Vision
