Good England are Saul Rose (Melodeon and vocals) and Stew Simpson (Guitar and vocals).

GE play contemporary folk and blues and they are a veritable feast for the ears. With a mix of traditional folk music, self-penned contemporary folk-songs and re interpretations of classics such as Black leg minor, Water of Tyne, What you do with what you've got, Rolling Home, The Lambton Worm and many more, Good England promise to provide a show of varied entertainment with an emphasis on melody and meaningful lyrics and also a bit of jovial banter to ease the proceedings along with a titter.

Saul Rose was nominated for BBC folk musician of the year in 2010, he plays in various bands including Faustus, Whapweasel , Eliza Carthy and the wayward band, he has also recently joined Hadrian's Union..

Stew Simpson, is singer/songwriter, artist, actor and poet. He is mostly known for his work with Folk Rock band Hadrian's Union.

Green Note was founded by two friends and passionate music lovers who wanted to create their ideal place to hang out in London...

Our dream was to create a place where we could share music that we loved – somewhere with a laid back, intimate and friendly atmosphere. Becoming friends in our school days, the seed for our idea was planted many years ago. After lots of hard work, many ups and downs, and learning more than we ever could have imagined along the way, our dream became a reality when Green Note opened its doors in the Summer of 2005. Now in our fourteenth year, we have established a reputation as one of London’s best spots for roots, world and acoustic music, and we’re constantly astonished by the wealth of incredible musicians who grace our stage. We’re really proud of what we have created, and happy to be able to share it with you.
