Growing Old Discracefully - A talk by Edwina Currie
Arkwright Society Evening Talks
Edwina Currie was a well-known Derbyshire MP and Minister in the Department of Health in Margaret Thatcher's day. She has eleven books to her name, including two sets of parliamentary diaries and bestselling novels. Her interests now include the history of the Industrial Revolution, looking after two dogs and a retired Scotland Yard detective, and growing old disgracefully in the High Peak, about which she will tell us more.
We're delighted that as a member of the Arkwright Society, Edwina has agreed to do one of our evening talks.
Come and join us for what we believe will be an entertaining evening!
