Special effects is without a doubt a highly creative and fun area in make-up artistry. It allows you to create any creature or character you can imagine, as whacky or scary as your heart desires! It also serves a real purpose. With storylines becoming more sensational and technology more sophisticated, special effects is becoming an increasingly important element of both film and theatrical productions. Join SFX make-up artist Sophie Knox as she teaches young participants the basic skills and techniques of make-up artistry. Sophie has worked on productions including Game of Thrones, The Fall, Line of Duty and Krypton.
