Sammy Kay (US)
Hailing from Asbury Park, New Jersey, singer/songwriter Sammy Kay is an incredibly talented musician who uses his raw powerful vocals (likened to chuck Ragan) to speak with an honesty and directness. His music is Pure, unadulterated New Jersey punk rock soul music.
He's toured the world, playing with among others, iconic bands such as The Gaslight Anthem and The Bouncing Souls. Sammy Kay opened up for Gaslight Anthem on their U.S 'Get hurt' tour in 2015 and the Bouncing Souls Pete Steinkopf has produced Sammys latest album 'Civil War'.
We are delighted to be welcoming Sammy Kay to Worcester as part of his UK tour to promote "civil/WAR". The album, due for release on the 4th of October on Say 10 records, focuses on five aspects of mental health: depression, anxiety, addiction, and the themes of empathy and understanding.
Kay has been described as one of the rare Jersey artists who plays more shows outside the state than at home. He's spent time living in Brooklyn and Los Angeles over the years, but there's no denying the Jersey in his songs. Fans of Gaslight Anthem looking for something new will love Civil/War.

Formed in 2012 by vocalist/songwriter Sam Moloney, Mixtape Saints is a Punk Rock Soul band from Birmingham in the UK. Over the past 5 years Mixtape Saints have built a name for themselves as a great live act playing shows across the UK's active DIY circuit.
