Total Guitar magazine called Ben Walker one of 'the best acoustic guitarists in the world right now'. On Dec 17th he'll be bringing that considerable talent to the Secret Music Club in Steyning.
All our gigs are 30 seat only boutique events aimed at discerning music fans. We only book the highest quality acts.
The venue is an intimate room above a shop and all profits go to the Maher Women's and Children's Refuge in Pune India. Think house concert with a big heart and excellent music in an exclusive setting and you've got it.
Ben's work is beautiful, evocative and hauntingly melodic. This is close up and personal original British music at it's best. After 6 acclaimed albums with Josienne Clark and more than fifty albums produced for other artists, his new solo album, Echo is a masterful work and has been lauded by the critics. On top of all that, he's a lovely guy too.
This will be a very special gig indeed. Come and see the BBC Folk Award winner do his stuff and be inspired.
