This month we're very excited to present an up-and-coming band who are currently making a big name for themselves since winning the Bath Folk Festival New Shoots Competition. They have a fabulous instrumental sound which augments the two distinctive voices of lead singers Theo Passingham and Kerry Smith. Their own compositions, as well as being lyrically interesting, merge folk, classical and indie in beautifully intricate overlapping arrangements with guitar, double bass and violin. This is a unique opportunity; to see and hear them perform in the intimate surroundings of the Uxbridge Folk Club, that you should not miss.
In complete contrast, Young Waters will be supported by Amy May Ellis another young artist who is also making a name for herself with her deceptively simple yet elegant songs and her 'voice of an angel', accompanying herself on Ukelele.
A unique, atmospheric and friendly venue with a fully stocked bar at reasonable prices.
