Come see the brilliant singer-songwriter and musician MIRI this December at the famous Betsey Trotwood in London.
Singer-songwriter and campaigner MIRI is known for her distinctive soulful and gritty vocal tones, spiked with socially conscious lyrics and classic British songwriting.
Her single 'Good Ones' taken from her forthcoming 'Soundbites EP' premiered on radio by Gemma Cairney on BBC 6 Music with further support from BBC Introducing. The accompanying music video, which further showcases MIRI's rebellious side, taking inspiration from Bob Dylan's classic video for 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' premiered in Clash Magazine.
MIRI's previous tracks have gained spins from BBC 6 Music, Radio DIVA, Soho Radio, BBC Introducing and Radio X. MIRI has co hosted 'Get In Her Ears' a show supporting women and non binary artists on Hoxton Radio and this year did her first interview on BBC Introducing Beds, Herts & Bucks.
Sounds and looks like the next big thing to me. Lynval Golding (The Specials)
Three of MIRI's songs are featured in the film 'Fear Of Water' starring Skins actress Lily Loveless & Sara Stewart and screened at the International Women's Film Festival in LA.
MIRI has co written and worked with artists including Xylaroo (Sunday Best), Estelle, Plan B, and Anita Blay.
