An evening of dramatic and emotional choral music: the first half interweaving opulent motets by the 16th century English composer Christopher Tye with pieces by the renowned Estonian Arvo Pärt settings from St Matthew's Gospel plus 'Which was the Son of', Pärt's jazzy list from Genesis of Jesus's family tree. The second half of the concert returns to the Renaissance Italy now with an electrifying double choir masterpiece by Orlando Lassus.
