The sixth and final instalment of a monthly residency live from the basement of London's premier 3 storey victorian public house, The Betsy Trotwood. Your host Stephen Evens has curated for you variety of musical and artistic delights and this is the last one. Will there be anymore? Who can tell?
THE STEPHEN EVENS BIT EARLY FOR CHRISTMAS CAVALCADE (Music)
A mixture of the usual live favourites and a helping of covers and Christmas classics picked by the band to be performed this day. Who knows what's going to happen? Will there be presents? No. Mince Pies? Maybe. Ending this series of shows exactly how it started; confused, apprehensive and a little unsure about whether it's going to make a fool of itself. A fitting end to this run of residence.

JAMIE TELFORD (Music)
When not writing and recording with My Glass World, he composes for film and theatre; when not doing that, he can be found playing for the flute and pipe bands of his hometown of Langholm, in the Scottish Borders or composing music in honour of local hero (and distant ancestor), the celebrated civil engineer Thomas Telford. As part of his musical career he has performed with The Jam and The Style Council, as well as other lesser known bands. He is also a sought-after composer whose modern classical pieces have been performed by the Southbank Sinfonia, and the National Youth Orchestra.
One of his latest compositional projects a commission by contemporary art curators Situations saw his Portwall Preludes, written for the vast Harrison and Harrison organ of St. Mary Redcliffe church in Bristol, feature as part of a permanent installation in the Portwall area beside the docks.

ACHING MUSCLE (Music)
Aching Muscle is the solo project of Richard Fennings, a multi instrumentalist from the cultural capital of Surrey - Godalming. It is an instrumental concern centered on guitar based rock but incorporating elements of electronic, funk and jazz. Richard has been playing in bands since the early 00's including drumming for Doom/Sludge outfit Pensevor. After his math rock duo Fauntleroy disbanded he caved in to his desperate need for attention and got back to guitar playing to start Aching Muscle.
