Star Shaped presents Geneva live at Komedia

The band were formed in 1992 by vocalist Andrew Montgomery and guitarist Steven Dora. They recruited second guitarist Stuart Evans, bass player Keith Graham and finally drummer Craig Brown. Craig was later replaced by Douglas Caskie.

One of their demos found their way to Suede's record label, Nude, who signed the band in 1996. They released their debut single "No One Speaks" the same year. The band garnered huge press attention and critical acclaim and were asked to headline NME's annual Bratbus tour of up and coming bands in early 1997. The band released second single "Into the Blue" to coincide with the tour.

Reforming in 2019 to play the Star Shaped Festival tour, Geneva wowed packed crowds in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle. They now announce a string of headline shows and rumours of new material... Have you seen the horizon lately?

The Lexington is a classic London boozer turned lounge bar, with a hint of Kentucky charm and lashings of rock & roll excess. If you like it a little bit louder, head upstairs for the latest and greatest bands in our live venue. Then dance the night away with our family of music loving DJs, playing everything from 20s jazz to the newest indie through the sea of counter-cultural sounds into the wee small hours.

The Lexington is an early Victorian building and as such is not easily accessible for anyone with limited mobility. While the main bar is on the ground floor and accessible without steps the music venue is up a flight of stairs. We’re happy to help with access where possible.
