Now firmly established as one of the most popular touring bands, Laura Cortese & The Dance Cards have wowed the crowds at big events such as Celtic Connections (main stage of Glasgow Royal Concert Hall), Shetland and Orkney Folk Festivals, Underneath The Stars Festival, Dublin's big TradFest (they were featured in TV coverage) and Belfast's Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. Their California Calling album won them a huge amount of media attention (Album of The Week at BBC Radio 6), and, writing in RnR magazine, David Innes awarded them his Most Memorable Gig of The Year vote. Giving the album a 5-star review (there were many) at Acoustic magazine, Julian Piper called it stunning and added: If there was any justice, you'd see Laura on Later with Jools next week. The band will have a much anticipated new CD released ahead of these 2020 dates.
