TRANSATLANTICA (OUT MARCH 2020) is the long-awaited debut album from alt-folk troubadour James Riley, recorded in Nashville with Grammy-winning producer Matthew Odmark.
Three years in the making, the album is a document of an era in Riley's life which followed his sudden relocation from his native South London to Tennessee at the end of 2014, and features distinctive, lush arrangements of songs brimming with the wild aspiration and tumult of new experiences, the pain of long-distance love, and redemption found through music.
To celebrate the release, James is bringing his full band to the Sebright Arms on March 12th, for a show that will feature several music video screenings and performances from special guests TBC.
Gosh he's got talent doesn't he?
