It is over a year since Odette performed at our Showcase nights since then she has released a her acclaimed debut album and perfoemd at venues and festivals across the UK. Odette is a British folk singer-songwriter, guitarist and bouzouki player with a bold new take on the acoustic tradition and a voice capable of demonstrating the finer points of both folk and traditional song with genuine craftsmanship. Her vocal style has been described as "warm, intelligent and sitting comfortably amidst folk guitar in a timeless songwriting style" - and has been compared in similarity to the likes of Sandy Denny and Joni Mitchell.

Description

The Couch is a licensed music venue by night, run by a team of volunteers. As a Social Enterprise it is a non profit-making venture that returns value to the community through a low cost music venue and music production facility and as a local arts hub for musicians & writers.
