Tír na nÓg are an Irish duo formed in the early 1970s, consisting of Leo O'Kelly and Sonny Condell. Their music mainly consisted of their own compositions, based on strong Celtic roots and typically featured intricate acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing. They toured the folk clubs of England; played sessions for John Peel's radio show many times, toured internationally with Jethro Tull and Procol Harum, as well as gigging with The Who, Roxy Music, Elton John, T.Rex and ELP ; and made three studio albums on Chrysalis Records. Sonny and Leo, as well as their Tir na nOg tours, play frequent solo performances.
