Join Devon based choreographer Jane Mason in a movement-based workshop for International Women's Day. The workshop will share insights into her choreographic process in the lead-up to her performance Night Flying, created and performed with David Williams, at Ashburton Arts Centre on Friday 13th March.
Working with movement, texts and objects, Jane draws on over twenty years experience working in a range of contexts; using choreography to stimulate personal insight and reflection within ourselves and each other. Through varied practical tasks we'll develop materials to explore ideas around 'landscape' - quietly drawing on Night Flying's related themes of memory change and wonder.
This is a supportive environment aimed at those curious to engage in choreography, performance making or movement-based practices. No previous experience necessary!
