Machan are John Mannel and John Clachan.
Traditional and contemporary U.K. and American acoustic music and,
more recently, self written songs played in their own unique, enthusiastic and empathetic style. The wide ranging material showcases distinctive vocals with fine harmony singing, accompanied by guitar and Irish bouzouki. Flute, harmonica and recorders also feature strongly, as does their audience rapport at live shows.
