Description

Enjoy an exclusive pond dipping experience with our Cromford Mills team. Learn about the creatures that live in the depths of the mill stream, and have a go yourself with our nets, trays and ID sheets. Catch sticklebacks and poke around in the mud to see what larvae and worms you can find.

You will also have the opportunity to explore the wildflowers in the barracks afterwards.

Dates: Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August

Time slots: 10.15-11.00, 11.15-12.00, 12.15-13.00, 14.15-15.00, 15.15-16.00

Price: £15 per household group, max 5 people. Every group must contain at least one adult, who is responsible for the children at all times. Recommended for age 5 plus.

Sessions last for 45 minutes. Only one household bubble will pond dip at a time. All equipment will be cleaned between groups, and staff will wear face coverings and maintain an appropriate social distance from visitors at all times. Further information will sent by email in advance of the event..
