Come and watch 10 local singers work with Liane Carroll over the afternoon. They'll each bring a song, and be coached by Liane. A great opportunity for everyone to learn from one of the great UK jazz singers, who has a unique and friendly charisma.
The singers who are taking part are a diverse bunch of with seasoned professionals alongside younger and less experienced performers, all with something unique to bring to the afternoon. It'll be a great education for everyone present, and a chance to see behind the scenes in how to put together songs for performance with all the insights that Liane Carroll has to offer.
The places for singers are all taken ? but there are plenty of tickets to come and watch ? £8 or £4 (pay what you can).
Ashburton Arts Centre is a community-owned and run place where the arts of all kinds happen.
It opened in 2018 in the town's old Methodist Church. Come see world-class live music, theatre, etc plus local performers, classes and community events.
