We are really pleased to welcome local band The People Versus back to Harwell Village Hall, this time as the headline act.
The People Versus have been quickly recognised as one of the most exciting talents coming out of the Folk Music scene, bringing their harmonies, driving rhythms and storytelling tradition to the forefront of their sound. Their combined voices and instrumental lines swoop, circle and support the beguiling voice and personality of the lead singer Alice. Each song is taut with feeling and longing, inspired by Greek myth and tales from Shakespeare.
?The resulting sound is Dreamy... it just pulls you in." - BBC introducing
"much too sweet to be manning the barricades" - Nightshift Magazine
Support is from another local act the ever improving Patrick Griffin.
Tickets are £15 from Duncan at biggingertommusic@gmail.com or on-line* at www.WeGotTickets.com *plus on-line booking fee
