Gruff Rhys returns to Storey's Field Centre in support of his new album. In Gruff's own words:

Hello everyone! I have news of a new album. "Seeking New Gods" is being released on 21st May by Rough Trade Records and the first single "Loan Your Loneliness" is out today in all the places you'd expect to hear it. You can also watch the Mark James directed video too.

I made this record following a US tour with the Babelsberg band - Kliph, Osian and Steve, plus additional vocals by Lisa and Mirain and was mixed in LA with Mario C who also mixed "Candylion" and "Hotel Shampoo".

It started out as the biography of an east Asian mountain - Mount Paektu, but eventually the album became more personal. I think it's about memory and time. It's still a biography of a mountain, but now it's a Mount Paektu of the mind.
