The mastery of waterpower was essential to Arkwright's success in building the world's first water powered cotton spinning mill at Cromford; discover his ingenuity using this environmentally friendly power source, and find out where water still moves under your feet today.
Location: Meet outside the Mill Shop. Tour lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, and includes the mill yard and part of Cromford village. Two tour times available at 12noon and 2.30pm.
