Join historian and guide Andy Skinner in exploring the setting, scene and history of the infamous French Raid of 1338 in this special walking tour around the anniversary of the raid itself.
This tour has a reduced capacity to allow for a covid-safe experience. Meet in St Michael?s Square 10 minutes before the tour begins.
In the event of particularly bad weather we will offer you an indoor talk about the 1338 raid and museum admission as an alternative. This will be at the same date and time as the advertised event. For updates about this event please follow us on social media (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tudorhouseandgarden; Twitter: @TudorHseGarden), agree to sign up for our Culture Vulture mailing list, or contact us direct during office hours on Museums@southampton.gov.uk. We will make every effort to contact you if the tour is unable to go ahead, if in doubt contact us.
