Nashville Calling presents Captain Americana. This band needs no introduction locally. Known for their on-stage swagger they are bringing their style of Country to the Essex Arms. Supported by Mal MacWatt who could have headlined himself. Mal's had an amazing last few years since we showcased his talent at one of our shows in 2019. A transatlantic album is set for release soon and you can see him live here, also with talented Shannon Hynes. Shannon and Mal have teamed up recently for some live shows and also some recording too, so to have the pair of them on stage is something of a treat for all Roots music followers. And of course hosting the show and singing a few of her songs is the Essex Queen of Country herself, our very own Hannah Paris
