CREATE YOUR OWN FLIP BOOKS - We go back to one of the very first and most important methods of animation for this children?s workshop. Flipbooks are a series of pictures that change very gradually from one page to the next, so that when the pages are turned rapidly, the pictures appear to animate by motion. Flipbooks are a fun and informative way for children to learn about the basic principles of animation and a great way for them to tell their very own stories. Flipbooks and art materials will be provided.

CREATIVE & PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS WITH THE ?CAN DO ACADEMY?- The ?Can Do Academy? aim to develop creativity and IT literacy through fun practical workshops. They offer classes in disciplines such as Claymation, Lego animation, paper-cut animation and photo manipulation.

Please Note: Tickets are required for all young people wishing to participate in a workshop.

This Workshop is for Young People Aged Between 6-11.

Workshop Duration: 90 mins.

Workshop Location: Ulster Museum (Learning Zone).

Parents/Guardians are not required to supervise children in workshops (Unless otherwise agreed with a Cinemagic employee prior to the day of the event).

The capacity of the workshop space will be limited due to government guidance on social distancing. A parent/guardian will be required to leave a contact number with Cinemagic Staff at the sign in desk on the day.

Please give surname of person who booked the tickets to Cinemagic staff on arrival.

Ticket holders will enter the museum through the main front doors. Exit will be at the Stranmillis Rd side of the building.
