Michael at The Big Comfy Bookshop is delighted to (finally) welcome Charlotte Campbell to the Comfy & Acoustic evenings at The Big Comfy Bookshop.

Doors at 7pm, artists start at 8pm sharp. Please note if you are late you may not be allowed entry due to the location of the performance area.
NO food and drink allowed in the bookshop. We have a fully license bar.

Charlotte Campbell
Charlotte has made a name for herself as a London Street Artist, charming the ears of locals and tourists alike. Through glorious summers and bitterly cold winters, she can be found sharing her original music with crowds along the Southbank.

Her street performances have led to so many wonderful opportunities including multiple Germany tours, gigs in Austria, France and Switzerland as well as festival slots at Cornbury and Glastonbury.



Building an online fanbase through street art, Charlotte has released 3 albums. Her singles ?Streets of London? and ?Songbird? have gained attention from Mark Forest?s BBC Introducing, as well as having her single ?Free The Night? featured and named official song of London?s Night Tube.



As a teenager, Campbell attended the prestigious BRIT School in South London and went on to study songwriting at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. She began busking in between her degree and her next step and fell in love with the art of street performance; she found a stage on London's pavements and continues to use that as her main platform for promoting her music to new audiences.

Based at the new creative village Fargo in Coventry, The Big Comfy Bookshop provides thousands of second hand books of all genres with the added extra of cake, coffee and tea and even a licensed bar! We've also now added a lunchtime menu.

Established since 2012, The Big Comfy Bookshop houses thousands of books from pulp crime fiction through to travel, art, cooking and all in between. With hundreds of shelves bulging with books, there's something for everyone.

Open 7 days a week, while-away a few hours in our relaxed environment with a cup of coffee and homemade cake, or even treat yourself to our freshly made jacket potatoes.

In the evening we transform our space to host music, poetry, book clubs and more, with our bar serving real ales and wine, a great alternative night out.

With an ever changing selection of books and an eclectic event schedule, The Big Comfy Bookshop is a destination to return to again and again.
