Suzi Ruffell

The working-class comedian of her generation, Suzi Ruffell has had five sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival racking up critical acclaim from reviewers and audiences alike.
In 2018, Ruffell recorded and released her show Keeping It Classy for Live From The BBC, with a clip gaining over 32 million views on Facebook.
Suzi is best known for her appearances on Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, The Jonathan Ross Show, Roast Battle, Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, Hypothetical, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, The Comedy Bus, Stand Up Central, Harry Hill?s ClubNite and Suzi Ruffell Live From The Comedy Store.
A regular on BBC Radio 4 shows including The News Quiz and The Now Show, Ruffell also co-hosts the hit podcast Like Minded Friends with Tom Allen. 2020 sees Suzi hosting a brand-new radio show on BBC Radio 2 called Explicable Me as well as launching her own podcast series, OUT with Suzi Ruffell, which celebrates the lives of LGBT+ people and ?coming out? through interviews with star studded guests.

Scott Bennett

After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott is a stand-up comedian and writer who?s star is most definitely on the rise.
His last two shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for ?Best Show? at the Leicester Comedy Festival and has been named by Chortle as One To Watch for 2018 and 19.
His debut hour stand up show About a Roy was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.

Laura Smyth

Laura Smyth is making waves on the comedy scene, this working-class East Londoner won the Funny Women Awards in 2019 only 7 months after her first ever stand-up gig. Steve Bennett described her as ?a real force-of-nature? and he wasn?t wrong.
Laura made her comedy TV debut on JONATHAN ROSS? COMEDY CLUB for ITV last autumn, since then she has appeared on YESTERDAY, TOMORROW AND THE DAY BEFORE for Comedy Central UK and AS YET UNTITLED for Dave. Laura performed at Latitude festival this July and did her first hour work in progress show at Leicester Comedy Festival in February over zoom.
A prolific writer, Laura is working on her first script commission with Sam Leifer and Caroline Leddy for the BBC. She's also just shot her first acting role in independent feature film COTTONTAIL.

Lara Ricote

Lara?s a twenty something year old comedian turned storyteller working in Amsterdam. She?s equal halves Mexican, American, and Venezuelan and equally as confused as you are about it. But telling stories helps. After studying political theory, Lara found the stage and began to use it to deal with the inescapability of the tiny tiny role she plays in history. She realized there?s something momentous in having agency in the narratives of tomorrow.
So she does comedy and tells stories, and does sketches, and news shows, and she teaches stand up comedy, and she does improv even though no one is asking her to.

Thanyia Moore

Thanyia is an actress, comedian, writer, voice over artist and presenter from South East London. In 2018 she joined the likes of Katherine Ryan, Andi Osho, Sarah Millican, Miss London Hughes, and Desiree Birch when she was crowned Funny Women Champion, Beating over 400 women in the process. She has been performing comedy since 2012 and is affectionately known as one of the hardest working comedians on the circuit. She is one of the only females in the UK who works both the mainstream and Black comedy scenes simultaneously. This position was cemented when she reached the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2018.
