Alim Beisembayev won First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition in September 2021, performing Rachmaninov?s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Andrew Manze. He also took home the medici.tv Audience Prize and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society Prize for contemporary performance, with The Guardian praising him as a ?worthy winner? with a ?real musical personality?.

Our piano is a fine Steinway Model B Grand, maintained by Steinways and tuned by them before each recital.
After the concert we offer a buffet tea of freshly-made sandwiches, savouries and cakes, accompanied by your choice of wine, tea, coffee or juice. Our caterers wear masks and gloves while preparing and serving food. Tea tickets can be bought on the door for £7, or just £5 for students. We can cater for up to 60.
There will be no Covid checks, but we advise the audience to wear masks. Some masks and hand sanitizer will be available on the front desk.
