Born in Poland and based in London for almost 15 years, Basia has established herself as a prolific violinist on the London music scene.

A keen collaborator, performer, composer and improviser, she has been a member in a myriad of bands and projects, in diverse musical genres, spanning Americana, folk, experimental, jazz, alternative, pop and more.

Combining classical technique with folk, gypsy and jazz fiddle styles, Basia is known for her expressive and versatile playing and warm and distinct violin sound.

She has performed in some of London?s most prestigious venues including, among others: The Roundhouse, Forum, Ronnie Scott?s, Purcell Room, King?s Place, Royal Academy of Music, Elgar Room at Royal Albert Hall, Union Chapel, and has toured across Europe and the UK with her various projects.

After years of intense recording and gigging schedules with many bands and singer songwriters, Basia embarks on a new, independent path with her own solo project.

Highly experimental, inventive, combining musical styles, genres, musical instruments and techniques, Basia explores and expresses her inner world of sounds and emotions.
