Born and raised in Kentish Town Madeleine found her voice thanks to the music of jazz legends from the 30s to the 50s. Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae, Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day and Julie London were the women who inspired her with their musicality and feeling. Her performance will see her move between standards, her own musical compositions and original poetry.
